Honour the coming of Ramaḍān and give one another good news of it. The Prophet ﷺ told his Companions: “Ramaḍān has come to you — a blessed month… in it the gates of Paradise are opened, the gates of the Fire are closed, and the devils are chained; in it is a night better than a thousand months — whoever is deprived of its good is truly deprived.” (Aḥmad & an‑Nasāʾī — ṣaḥīḥ).
العربية: عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أنّ النبيّ ﷺ قال: «أتاكم رمضان، شهرٌ مبارك… تُفتح فيه أبواب الجنة، وتُغلق فيه أبواب الجحيم، وتُغلّ فيه الشياطين، فيه ليلةٌ خيرٌ من ألف شهر، مَن حُرِم خيرها فقد حُرِم». (أحمد والنسائي).
