The Prophet ﷺ encouraged wearing white: “Wear white clothes, for they are among your best clothes, and shroud your dead in them.” (Tirmidhī & Abū Dāwūd — ṣaḥīḥ). White is pure, shows any impurity, and is easy to keep clean.
العربية: عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: «البَسوا من ثيابكم البياض، فإنها من خير ثيابكم، وكفّنوا فيها موتاكم». (الترمذي وأبو داود).
Wear white, especially for Jumuʿah and ʿĪd — a simple, beloved Sunnah.
