Clean your hands after meals, especially of any grease or food. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever sleeps with grease on his hand and does not wash it, and something harms him, let him blame only himself.” (Abū Dāwūd & Tirmidhī — ṣaḥīḥ). Cleanliness of the hands is a stressed part of the Sunnah.
