Waiting for the prayer is a guarding in Allah's cause. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Shall I not tell you of that by which Allah erases sins and raises ranks? Perfecting wuḍūʾ despite hardship, many steps to the masjids, and waiting for the prayer after the prayer — that is the ribāṭ.” (Muslim).
العربية: عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أنّ رسول الله ﷺ قال: «ألا أدلّكم على ما يمحو الله به الخطايا ويرفع به الدرجات؟… إسباغ الوضوء على المكاره، وكثرة الخُطا إلى المساجد، وانتظار الصلاة بعد الصلاة، فذلكم الرباط». (مسلم).
Come to the masjid early and sit awaiting the prayer — every moment is rewarded.
