The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever does not thank people does not thank Allah.” (Abū Dāwūd & Tirmidhī — ṣaḥīḥ). And he taught the best way: “Whoever has good done to him and says to the doer ‘Jazāk Allāhu khayran’ has done the utmost in praise.” (Tirmidhī — ṣaḥīḥ).
العربية: عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أنّ رسول الله ﷺ قال: «مَن لا يشكر الناس لا يشكر الله». وقال: «مَن صُنِع إليه معروف فقال لفاعله: جزاك الله خيرًا، فقد أبلغ في الثناء». (الترمذي وصححه الألباني).
When someone helps you, say “Jazāk Allāhu khayran” — gratitude that pleases Allah.
