The Prophet ﷺ heard a man say: “Allāhumma innī asʾaluka bi‑anna laka-l‑ḥamd, lā ilāha illā ant, al‑Mannānu Badīʿu-s‑samāwāti wal‑arḍ, yā Dha-l‑Jalāli wal‑Ikrām…” and said: “He has asked Allah by His Greatest Name, by which when He is asked He gives, and when He is called He answers.” (Abū Dāwūd & Tirmidhī — ṣaḥīḥ).
العربية: عن أنس رضي الله عنه أنّ النبيّ ﷺ سمع رجلًا يقول: «اللهم إني أسألك بأنّ لك الحمد لا إله إلا أنت المنّان بديع السماوات والأرض يا ذا الجلال والإكرام…» فقال: «لقد سأل الله باسمه الأعظم الذي إذا سُئل به أعطى، وإذا دُعي به أجاب». (أبو داود والترمذي).
