Do not curse the wind — turn to Allah. The Prophet ﷺ would say: “Allāhumma innī asʾaluka khayrahā wa khayra mā fīhā wa khayra mā ursilat bih, wa aʿūdhu bika min sharrihā wa sharri mā fīhā wa sharri mā ursilat bih.” (Muslim). When he saw wind and clouds, concern showed on his face fearing punishment; when rain fell he was relieved and said: “raḥmah.”
العربية: عن عائشة رضي الله عنها أنّ النبيّ ﷺ كان إذا عصفت الريح قال: «اللهم إني أسألك خيرها وخير ما فيها وخير ما أُرسلت به، وأعوذ بك من شرّها وشرّ ما فيها وشرّ ما أُرسلت به». (مسلم).
When a strong wind blows, ask Allah for its good and seek refuge from its harm — do not curse it.
