Pray for those who have died — it reaches them. The Prophet ﷺ would go to al‑Baqīʿ and say: “Peace be upon you, abode of a believing people; what you were promised has come to you… O Allah, forgive the people of Baqīʿ al‑Gharqad.” (Muslim). And the deceased benefits from “a righteous child who prays for him.” (Muslim).
العربية: عن عائشة رضي الله عنها أنّ النبيّ ﷺ كان يخرج آخر الليل إلى البقيع فيقول: «السلام عليكم دار قومٍ مؤمنين… اللهم اغفر لأهل بقيع الغرقد». (مسلم).
Make duʿā for your deceased parents, relatives and all Muslims — ‘Allāhumma-ghfir lil‑muslimīna wal‑muslimāt.’
