Few words, much action. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him speak good or remain silent.” (al-Bukhārī). ʿUmar said: “Whoever speaks much, errs much.” Guarding the tongue is one of the greatest sunnahs, rare in our time.
العربية: عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أنّ رسول الله ﷺ قال: «مَن كان يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر فليقل خيرًا أو ليصمت». (البخاري).
Before you speak, ask: is this good? If not, silence is the Sunnah.
