Do not sink into endless worldly expectations. The Prophet ﷺ took Ibn ʿUmar by the shoulder and said: “Be in this world as though you were a stranger or a wayfarer.” Ibn ʿUmar added: “When evening comes, do not expect the morning; when morning comes, do not expect the evening; take from your health for your illness, and from your life for your death.” (al-Bukhārī).
