A nightly shield from every harm. The Prophet ﷺ said: whoever says three times in the evening, “Aʿūdhu bi‑kalimāti-llāhi-t‑tāmmāti min sharri mā khalaq,” no harm will befall him that night. (Muslim & Tirmidhī — ṣaḥīḥ). Say it too whenever you stop at a place.
العربية: عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أنّ النبيّ ﷺ قال: «مَن قال حين يُمسي ثلاث مرات: أعوذ بكلمات الله التامّات من شرّ ما خلق، لم تضرّه حُمَةٌ تلك الليلة». (مسلم والترمذي).
