Allah praised “those who seek forgiveness before dawn.” (Āl ʿImrān 3:17). In the last third of the night Allah descends to the lowest heaven and says: “Who is asking Me that I may give him? Who is seeking My forgiveness that I may forgive him?” (al-Bukhārī & Muslim).
العربية: قال الله تعالى: ﴿وبالأسحار هم يستغفرون﴾ [الذاريات:18]. وقال النبيّ ﷺ: «ينزل ربّنا كلّ ليلة إلى السماء الدنيا حين يبقى ثلثُ الليل الآخر فيقول: مَن يستغفرني فأغفر له». (البخاري ومسلم).
Before Fajr, wake for a few minutes to seek Allah's forgiveness — the most blessed hour of the night.
