Match your dhikr to your motion. Travelling with the Prophet ﷺ, the Companions would say ‘Allāhu Akbar’ when climbing and ‘SubḥānAllāh’ when descending. (al-Bukhārī). He kept it gentle: “Be easy on yourselves — you are not calling one deaf or absent; you call upon the All‑Hearing, the All‑Seeing.” (al-Bukhārī).
العربية: عن جابر رضي الله عنه قال: «كنّا إذا صعِدنا كبّرنا، وإذا نزلنا سبّحنا». (البخاري).
Going up stairs or a hill, say ‘Allāhu Akbar’; going down, ‘SubḥānAllāh’ — turn movement into dhikr.
