True strength is self‑control in anger. The Prophet ﷺ said: “The strong one is not the good wrestler; the strong one is he who controls himself when angry.” (al-Bukhārī & Muslim). And: “Whoever restrains his anger while able to act on it, Allah will call him before all creation and let him choose of the ḥūr al‑ʿīn as he wishes.” (Abū Dāwūd — ḥasan).
العربية: عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أنّ رسول الله ﷺ قال: «ليس الشديدُ بالصُّرعة، إنما الشديدُ الذي يملك نفسه عند الغضب». (البخاري ومسلم).
When anger rises, say ‘Aʿūdhu billāhi min ash‑Shayṭān,’ sit down or make wuḍūʾ — and hold your tongue and hand.
