A man asked: “What is faith?” The Prophet ﷺ said: “When your good deed pleases you and your bad deed grieves you, you are a believer.” (Aḥmad — ṣaḥīḥ). Let your heart find joy in obedience and unease in disobedience.
العربية: عن أبي أمامة رضي الله عنه أنّ رجلًا قال: يا رسول الله ما الإيمان؟ قال: «إذا سرّتك حسنتُك وساءتك سيّئتُك فأنت مؤمن». (أحمد).
Check your heart: does obedience make you happy and sin make you uneasy? Nurture that.
