When you recite or hear a verse of prostration, prostrate. The Prophet ﷺ said: when the son of Ādam recites a verse of prostration and prostrates, Shayṭān withdraws weeping: “Woe to me — he was ordered to prostrate and did, so his is Paradise; I was ordered and refused, so mine is the Fire.” (Muslim). Say in it: “Sajada wajhī lilladhī khalaqahu wa shaqqa samʿahu wa baṣarahu bi‑ḥawlihi wa quwwatih.”
العربية: عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أنّ رسول الله ﷺ قال: «إذا قرأ ابنُ آدم السجدة فسجد اعتزل الشيطان يبكي، يقول: يا ويله، أُمِر ابنُ آدم بالسجود فسجد فله الجنة، وأُمِرتُ بالسجود فأبيتُ فليَ النار». (مسلم).
