Pray toward a sutrah — a wall, pillar, chair or the like — and keep close to it so no one passes directly in front of you. The Prophet ﷺ said: “When one of you prays, let him pray toward a sutrah and keep close to it.” (Abū Dāwūd — ṣaḥīḥ). It guards your khushūʿ, and he warned strongly against passing in front of one praying. (al-Bukhārī & Muslim).

Pray facing a wall, pillar or placed object — stand close to it and let no one cross in front of you.
