Planting is an ongoing charity. The Prophet ﷺ said: “No Muslim plants a tree or sows a crop, and a bird, a human or an animal eats from it, but it is a charity for him.” (al-Bukhārī & Muslim). And: “Whoever revives dead land, it is a reward for him, and whatever the creatures eat from it is a charity.” (Aḥmad — ṣaḥīḥ).
العربية: عن أنس رضي الله عنه أنّ رسول الله ﷺ قال: «ما مِن مسلمٍ يغرس غرسًا أو يزرع زرعًا فيأكل منه طيرٌ أو إنسانٌ أو بهيمة إلا كان له به صدقة». (البخاري ومسلم).
Plant a tree, grow a garden, or support green projects — every creature that benefits is a charity for you.
