The Prophet ﷺ forbade treating illness with the impure or forbidden (al‑khabīth). (Abū Dāwūd & Tirmidhī — ṣaḥīḥ). Asked about wine as a remedy, he said: “It is not a remedy, but a disease.” (Muslim). Ibn Masʿūd said: “Allah has not placed your cure in what He has forbidden you.” (al-Bukhārī).
العربية: عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: «نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن الدواء الخبيث». (الترمذي وأبو داود). وقال ابن مسعود: «إنّ الله لم يجعل شفاءكم فيما حرّم عليكم». (البخاري).
Seek treatment only through what is lawful — never through forbidden substances.
