The Prophet ﷺ said: “Among the worst of lies is that a man claims his eyes saw (in a dream) what they did not see.” (al-Bukhārī). And whoever claims a dream he did not see is charged (on Judgement Day) to tie two barley grains together, which he never can. (al-Bukhārī). A believer's true dream is “a part of the forty‑six parts of prophethood.” (al-Bukhārī & Muslim).
Don't invent or exaggerate dreams — lying about them is among the gravest lies.
