At Ghadīr Khumm the Prophet ﷺ said: “I leave among you two weighty things: the Book of Allah… and my household. I remind you of Allah regarding my household.” (Muslim). This is the reward he asked of us: “Say: I ask no reward for it except love for the kinfolk.” (al‑Shūrā 42:23).
