Love optimism and the good word (al‑fāl)

The Prophet ﷺ said: “There is no ʿadwā (contagion by itself) and no ṭiyarah (evil omen); and I like the good fāl.” They said: “What is the fāl?” He said: “A good word one of you hears.” (al-Bukhārī & Muslim).

العربية: عن أنس رضي الله عنه أنّ النبيّ ﷺ قال: «لا عَدوى ولا طِيَرة، ويُعجبني الفأل»، قالوا: وما الفأل؟ قال: «الكلمة الطيّبة». (البخاري ومسلم).

Banish pessimism and superstition — take a good, hopeful word to heart and expect good from Allah.
