Abandon needless argument, even when you are right. The Prophet ﷺ said: “I guarantee a house on the outskirts of Paradise for one who leaves arguing even if he is right, a house in the middle of Paradise for one who leaves lying even in jest, and a house in the highest Paradise for one of good character.” (Abū Dāwūd — ḥasan).
