Fix your eyes on the place of prostration — a sign of khushūʿ. The Prophet ﷺ warned those who raise their eyes to the sky in prayer that their sight may be snatched away. (al-Bukhārī). Do not look around; keep your eyes down and your heart present.
العربية: عن أنس رضي الله عنه أنّ رسول الله ﷺ قال: «ما بالُ أقوامٍ يرفعون أبصارهم إلى السماء في صلاتهم»… ثم قال: «لَينتهُنّ عن ذلك أو لتُخطَفنّ أبصارهم». (البخاري).
In prayer, lower your gaze to where you prostrate — it deepens focus and humility.
