Ḥudhayfah prayed behind the Prophet ﷺ, who recited slowly: when he passed a verse of tasbīḥ he glorified Allah, when he passed a request he asked, and when he passed a verse of seeking refuge he sought refuge. (Muslim). When he recited “Is not that One able to give life to the dead?” he said: “Subḥānaka fabalā.”
العربية: عن حذيفة رضي الله عنه قال: صلّيتُ مع النبيّ ﷺ… «يقرأ مُترسّلًا، إذا مرّ بآيةٍ فيها تسبيحٌ سبّح، وإذا مرّ بسؤالٍ سأل، وإذا مرّ بتعوّذٍ تعوّذ». (مسلم).
