Do not merely appreciate their effort — share it. ʿĀʾishah was asked what the Prophet ﷺ did in his house; she said: “He was in the service of his family, and when the prayer came he would go out to pray.” (al-Bukhārī).
العربية: سُئلت عائشة رضي الله عنها: ما كان النبيّ ﷺ يصنع في بيته؟ قالت: «كان يكون في مِهنة أهله — تعني خدمة أهله — فإذا حضرت الصلاة خرج إلى الصلاة». (البخاري).
Wash a few dishes, tidy up, help with the children — a small share that follows the Sunnah and brings peace to the home.
