No days are more beloved to Allah for righteous deeds than the first ten of Dhul‑Ḥijjah. The Prophet ﷺ said: “There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten.” They said: “Not even jihād?” He said: “Not even jihād, except a man who goes out with himself and his wealth and returns with none of it.” (al-Bukhārī).
العربية: عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما عن النبيّ ﷺ قال: «ما العمل في أيامٍ أفضلَ منها في هذه» يعني العشر، قالوا: ولا الجهاد؟ قال: «ولا الجهاد، إلا رجلٌ خرج بنفسه وماله فلم يرجع بشيء». (البخاري).
In the first ten days of Dhul‑Ḥijjah, increase prayer, fasting, Qur'an, dhikr and charity — the best days of the year.
