Set aside clean, good clothes for Friday other than your work clothes. The Prophet ﷺ said: “What harm would it do any of you, if he can afford it, to keep two garments for Jumuʿah besides his work clothes?” (Ibn Mājah — ḥasan). Allah says: “Take your adornment at every masjid.” (al-Aʿrāf 7:31).
العربية: عن عائشة رضي الله عنها أنّ النبيّ ﷺ رأى على الناس ثياب العمل يوم الجمعة فقال: «ما على أحدكم — إن وجد سَعةً — أن يتّخذ ثوبين لجمعته سوى ثوبَي مِهنته؟». (ابن ماجه).
Keep a nice, clean set of clothes for Jumuʿah — honour the day and the gathering.
