Keep your duʿā simple and sincere. The Prophet ﷺ heard his son make an elaborate supplication and said: “There will be people who transgress in supplication; do not be among them.” (Abū Dāwūd — ṣaḥīḥ). He ﷺ loved concise, comprehensive duʿās and left the rest. (Abū Dāwūd).
العربية: عن سعد بن أبي وقاص رضي الله عنه أنّه سمع ابنه يدعو دعاءً فيه تكلّف، فقال: «سيكون قومٌ يعتدون في الدعاء، فإياك أن تكون منهم». (أبو داود).
Keep your duʿā simple and sincere — avoid rhyming affectation and going beyond your real need.
