Keep your dignity and rely on Allah. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Do not be insistent in asking. By Allah, none of you asks me for something, and I give it while disliking his asking, except that it is not blessed for him.” (Muslim). And: “The upper (giving) hand is better than the lower (asking) hand.” (al-Bukhārī).
العربية: عن معاوية رضي الله عنه أنّ رسول الله ﷺ قال: «لا تُلحِفوا في المسألة، فوالله لا يسألني أحدٌ منكم شيئًا… فيُبارَك له فيما أعطيتُه». (مسلم).
Depend on Allah, work, and avoid begging — the giving hand is better than the asking hand.
