Allah commanded His Prophet ﷺ: “…and consult them in the matter.” (Āl ʿImrān 3:159), and the Prophet ﷺ — despite receiving revelation — consulted his Companions often. It is said: “No one who consults ever fails, and no one who seeks counsel ever regrets.” And he ﷺ said: “The one whose advice is sought is entrusted.” (Abū Dāwūd — ṣaḥīḥ).
العربية: قال الله لنبيّه ﷺ: ﴿وشاورهم في الأمر﴾ [آل عمران:159]. وقال النبيّ ﷺ: «المُستشار مؤتمن». (أبو داود). وكان ﷺ أكثر الناس مشاورةً لأصحابه.
Before big decisions, consult people of knowledge, experience and sincerity — it is Sunnah and guards you from regret.
