On waking, sniff water into the nose and blow it out three times. The Prophet ﷺ said: “When one of you wakes from sleep, let him clear his nose (istinthār) three times, for Shayṭān spends the night in the upper part of his nose.” (al-Bukhārī & Muslim).
العربية: عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أنّ النبيّ ﷺ قال: «إذا استيقظ أحدكم من منامه فليستنثر ثلاث مرات، فإنّ الشيطان يبيت على خيشومه». (البخاري ومسلم).
