The Prophet ﷺ loved to begin with the right in all his affairs — ʿĀʾishah said he liked to start with the right in his shoes, grooming and purification. (al-Bukhārī). He ﷺ said: “When you put on your shoes, begin with the right; when you take them off, begin with the left.” (al-Bukhārī & Muslim).
العربية: عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أنّ رسول الله ﷺ قال: «إذا انتعل أحدكم فليبدأ باليمين، وإذا نزع فليبدأ بالشمال، لِتكن اليمنى أولَهما تُنعَل وآخرَهما تُنزَع». (البخاري ومسلم).
Start with the right — in shoes, sleeves and every good thing.
