When you don't know a ruling, ask scholars — do not guess. Allah says: “Ask the people of knowledge if you do not know.” (al-Naḥl 16:43). The Prophet ﷺ condemned those who gave a wrong ruling that harmed an injured man: “They killed him, may Allah deal with them! Could they not have asked when they did not know? The cure for ignorance is to ask.” (Abū Dāwūd — ḥasan).

Don't give religious verdicts from opinion — ask qualified scholars about what you don't know.
